7 killed in flash flood in Indonesia


Indonesian rescuers on Monday recovered seven bodies from a river in West Java province after the Sunday’s flash flood that slammed into a boat carrying 13 people.

Five other passengers managed to escaped the accident at the Cipelang River in Sukabumi, about 100 km south of Jakarta, while one person remains missing, reported leading news website Detikcom.

The bodies were found at separate places up to 10 km from the scene.
